Friday Box Office Results: 'Troy' takes top slot, 'Van Helsing' gets Staked
If the per-screen average holds for 'Troy,' the film should rake in nearly $20 million for Friday -- definitely on par for $60 million plus for this weekend. Note the sharp decline (66%) for 'Van Helsing.' No amount of damage control could turn the tide on the bad word of mouth. 'Super Size Me' seems to be under-performing a bit too...

Comments
Defending "Super Size Me" -- Exhibitor Relations has them for the weekend at $723,000 with 113 engagements, so that early $2,049/screen ended up really being $6,398/screen. Similar for the rest of the movies in your list: Fridays tend to be not-so-great indications of the rest of the weekend's per-screen average (because the majority of the screenings in the day are during work time.)
that was a big and great news about the film troy for it sale over the weekend.i will like to get so imformation about its marketing strategies and what figuire of sale it stands at moment
